11.Teesri Kasam(1966)



Teesri Kasam  is a 1966 Hindi language drama film directed by Basu Bhattacharya and produced by lyricist Shailendra.

A naive bullock-cart driver falls for a traveling courtesan. It is based on the short story Mare Gaye Gulfam, by the Hindi novelist Phanishwarnath Renu.

Teesri Kasam is an unconventional film that portrays rural Indian society. It is the story of a naive bullock cart driver Hiraman, who falls in love with Hirabai, a dancer at a nautanki. The film also deals with the issue of exploitation of women in the performing arts, especially in travelling folk theatre

Teesri Kasam emerged as a box-office bomb,but won President's medal for best film (National award for best film).

Hamraaz  is a 1967 Indian suspense thriller film, produced and directed by B. R. 13.Ankhen(1968)



Shortly after independence India faces terrorist’s attacks in Assam, resulting in many deaths and casualties. A group of concerned citizens then decide to do something to stop this carnage.Ankhen (The Eyes) is a 1968 Hindi spy thriller produced and directed by Ramanand Sagar. After the surprise big hit of Farz as a spy thriller, Sagar came out with a bigger budget film in the same genre, shot in many international locations. This was the first Hindi film shot in Beirut.

It was estimated to be the most profitable Indian film of 1968 in India.

Ankhen is considered to be a pioneer in Hindi spy films. It was initially planned to be shot when Dharmendra had just one film. But the director Ramanand Sagar had apprehensions of casting him since he was considered raw and was not yet a star; therefore, he recruited a huge star of the period, Mala Sinha, opposite him for marketing considerations. With the success of Phool Aur Paththar, Sagar decided to increase his budget and finalize Dharmendra as the leading man.

This film won Ramanand Sagar his only Filmfare award for Best Director

15. Sholay (1975)



Sholay  is a 1975 Indian Hindustani-language action-adventure film written by Salim–Javed, directed by Ramesh Sippy, and produced by his father G. P. Sippy. The film is about two criminals, Veeru (Dharmendra) and Jai (Amitabh Bachchan), hired by a retired police officer (Sanjeev Kumar) to capture the ruthless dacoit Gabbar Singh (Amjad Khan). Hema Malini and Jaya Bhaduri also star, as Veeru and Jai's love interests, Basanti and Radha, respectively. Sholay is considered a classic and one of the best Indian films. It was ranked first in the British Film Institute's 2002 poll of "Top 10 Indian Films" of all time. In 2005, the judges of the 50th Filmfare Awards named it the Best Film of 50 Years.After his family is murdered by a notorious and ruthless bandit, a former police officer enlists the services of two outlaws to capture the bandit.

16. Aandhi (1975)



J.K. is a hotel Manager in a scenic location in India. One day he gallantly comes to the rescue of a drunk daughter, Aarti, of a politician, and chooses to be discrete about it. When she recovers, she and he fall in love; get married in a small marriage ceremony, have a daughter, and thereafter differences arise to such an extent that they decide to separate. Years pass J.K. and Aarti meet again when she is an established politician, both are still attracted to each other, but she does not want her name to be tarnished and stigmatized as a "separated" woman. Songs including "Is mod se jaatey hai"; "Tere bina zindagi Se shikva toh nahin;" and "Tum aa gaye ho" noor aa gaya hai.
